finally got the game started! wife is obsessed with figuring out fishing... i believe in her!
the ridgeside valley expansion is really cool. it keeps me from feeling bored by the characters i don't love the main stardew cast... and makes the game a bit bigger for my wife who loves an open world to explore.
we also found a way to set it up on the monitors as an idle screen.... the music and visible fish stay on in a multiplayer pause so its really calming 
right now we're doing stardew mornings and disco elysium in the evening... i win every day so much.
WE GOT TO THE MINES! i was right my wife really likes them 
that makes me so happy! i also went up to ridgeside for the first time which rocked
